01About This Page

This page is for police, government agencies and legal professionals. Internet Nice LLC is a Florida limited liability company. We provide infrastructure and do not control or monitor what our customers place on their Services. If you want to report abuse coming from our network, use our Acceptable Use Policy instead.

02How to Send a Request

Send requests in writing, on official letterhead, to legal@internetnice.com, with "Law enforcement request" in the subject. We do not accept legal process by telephone. Include:

  • The requesting agency, and the case, warrant or reference number
  • The name, title and official contact details of the officer
  • The IP address, domain, Service or account concerned
  • The exact date and time range, with time zone
  • The records you are asking for
  • Any non-disclosure order or preservation instruction

We cannot run open-ended searches. Requests that do not identify a specific Service and time range cannot be processed.

03Legal Process We Require

  • Subpoena or equivalent: basic subscriber and billing information
  • Court order: non-content records such as access logs
  • Search warrant: content stored on a Service, where it is within our control

We follow valid process from the United States and from the country where the Service is located, which today means the United States, Thailand or Singapore. Authorities in other countries should use a Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty request or other formal channel.

04Emergencies

If there is an immediate risk of death or serious physical injury, send an emergency request to legal@internetnice.com explaining the situation. We may disclose limited information without formal process where the law allows it.

05Preserving Records

We will preserve the records we hold for 90 days on receiving a valid preservation request while formal process is obtained, and for one further 90-day period if asked. A preservation request alone does not lead to disclosure.

06What We Hold

We may hold account and billing details, payment records, support tickets, service and IP assignment records, and access logs, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not record the content of customer traffic. On unmanaged Services we do not hold customers' server passwords or encryption keys. We cannot produce records we never collected or no longer keep.

07Telling Our Customers

We are not required to tell customers about requests for their information, and we generally do not. Where a court order forbids disclosure of a request, we comply with it.

08Content Complaints

Complaints about specific content, including copyright notices, go through our abuse process at abuse@internetnice.com. We forward them to the customer and act on the Service ourselves if the content is unlawful, the customer does not respond, or the law requires it.

09Governing Language

This policy is written in English, and the English version is the only legally binding version. Translations into other languages, including Simplified Chinese, Spanish and French, are provided for convenience only and are not legally binding. If a translation differs from the English version, or is unclear, the English version prevails.

10Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to change this policy at any time. The version published on this page is the one in force. When we make a material change we will try to tell you by email or in the client area before it takes effect, and your continued use of our services afterwards means you accept the revised version.
