01The Basic Rule
Do not use our Services for anything illegal, for anything that harms our infrastructure, our other customers or other networks, or for anything that damages the reputation of our IP addresses. This policy is part of our Terms of Service.
02Never Allowed
We do not host the following under any circumstances:
- Anything illegal in the United States or in the country where the Service is located
- Child sexual abuse material, which we report to the authorities
- Malware, botnet command and control, phishing pages or phishing kits
- Spam, bulk unsolicited email, or email sent to purchased or scraped lists
- Denial-of-service attacks, "booter" or "stresser" services, brute-force attacks and IP spoofing
- Carding, payment fraud, account takeover tools and other fraud
- Distribution of cracked or pirated software, or of copyrighted material without permission
- Gambling of any kind, including licensed gambling
- Adult or pornographic content
- Cryptocurrency mining of any kind
- Tor exit relays
- Port scanning and network scanning, including security research and penetration testing
- Reselling our Services to third parties
- Unlicensed online pharmacies

03Allowed Only With Written Approval
Some legal activities attract complaints or carry extra risk. Open a ticket and get written approval before ordering if you plan to run:
- VPN or proxy services offered to other people
- Licensed financial services, such as trading, lending or cryptocurrency exchanges
- File hosting, paste sites, forums and other user-generated content platforms (you will need a moderation and takedown process)
Approval can depend on the location and may come with conditions. We may withdraw it if the activity causes problems.
04Our Right to Refuse
We reserve the right to refuse, suspend or stop hosting any customer, project or content that we judge to be high-risk, or likely to harm our network, our IP reputation or our other customers, even where it is not listed above. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you why and give you time to move.
05When We Receive a Complaint
When we receive an abuse complaint about your Service, we forward it to you and you must reply within 24 hours with what you have done or why the complaint is mistaken. If you do not reply, we may suspend the Service. For serious, repeated or deliberate abuse, or where our network or other customers are at risk, we may act immediately without notice.
Where abuse was deliberate, we may charge an administrative fee to cover clean-up, for example $25 per IP address to have it removed from blocklists.
We may also suspend an account and all its Services straight away if we see signs of fraud, such as suspicious payments, several Services generating complaints, or a history of abuse or ignored complaints.
06Reporting Abuse
To report abuse coming from our network, email abuse@internetnice.com with the IP address, the date and time with time zone, and evidence such as log lines or message headers. We review every report and treat reporters' details with discretion. Requests from law enforcement are handled under our Law Enforcement Requests policy.
07Governing Language
This policy is written in English, and the English version is the only legally binding version. Translations into other languages, including Simplified Chinese, Spanish and French, are provided for convenience only and are not legally binding. If a translation differs from the English version, or is unclear, the English version prevails.
08Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to change this policy at any time. The version published on this page is the one in force. When we make a material change we will try to tell you by email or in the client area before it takes effect, and your continued use of our services afterwards means you accept the revised version.
